Pastor Sanders most recently served as an Associate Minister at Trinity Missionary Baptist Church in Pontiac, Michigan under the leadership of Dr. John D. Tolbert. Prior to that, he served as an Associate Minister at Commonwealth Church in Redford, Michigan.

Pastor Sanders’ ministry is marked by fervent, transformative preaching and teaching that transcends barriers of race, age, gender, and economic status. With compassion and clarity, his aim is to equip believers to apply biblical truths to their everyday lives and to walk confidently in the hope of Christ. His vision is to cultivate a Christ-centered community where people are not just informed but transformed; where discipleship and evangelism flow naturally from lives rooted deeply in God’s Word and love. He believes that when people encounter Christ in authentic community, they don’t just find hope – they find home.

In addition to his ministry calling, Pastor Sanders has spent over two decades in the financial services industry, including multiple roles in the Branch Manager Training Program and Private Client Banker at JPMorgan Chase. He is also the principal owner and manager of a financial services firm. His experience in financial stewardship and management equips him to guide others not only in spiritual matters but in wise and faithful living.

Pastor Sanders is a Doctor of Ministry student at United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio. He holds a Master of Divinity from the Samuel Dewitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Michigan State University. Go Green!

Pastor Sanders is married to the love of his life, Lady Chatrise. They have a shared passion for travel and dining. Together, they have a blended family of eight children and three grandchildren.
